I have a couple of legacy applications. They will receive no further updates, including security updates. Can anyone suggest a good method of keeping/using the applications safely. Safely means avoiding security exploits etc. Idealy, I would like to keep them in their current locations and they should run as usual.

Thanks.

OS is Vista Home Premium 32 bit
RAM 1GB
CPU: Pentium D
Dell system

Run them while you are disconnected from any other computers, LANs, or the www/internet. Also, make sure they don't penetrate your firewall.
